Assembly
Please note that there will be some assembly involved which is necessary for shipping. Our Digital Manual provides step-by-step photos and written instructions for this assembly. How to Prepare for the Shop Update
Make sure you have a Daedalus Shop account. If you haven't already signed up for a shop account login already on the new shop you'll want to ensure you do that ahead of time. At the top of the shop, you'll see a little person icon. Simply click on this and on the next page you'll click "Create account" to set up your account. Please ensure you fill out all the information and set up your shipping address so you don't have to worry about that later.
We highly recommend you familiarize yourself with our shop. The Whirligigs will appear under a listing that will only be available on the Whirligig collection page. To access this page simply click this link. https://shop.daedalusspinningwheels.com/collections/whirligig
For the best shopping experience, we recommend using a device that is capable of using Apple Pay or Google Pay. These methods of payments if set up are extremely quick. We also recommend if using PayPal to ensure that you are already logged in to your PayPal account in advance.
You'll want to ensure you add any additional items you'd like to purchase before the shop update. The Whirligig already comes with a wall power supply but if you prefer you can also use the Daedalus Battery pack. Anything you can prepare in advance so that you can get through checkout as quickly as possible will improve your chances of a successful purchase. There will be more Whirligigs in the future so if you miss out please stay tuned for the next batch.

About the Whirligig
The Whirligig, a motorized Skeiner/Swift combo, was born out of the need to continually re-skein the yarn used during the extensive Roly-Poly testing. It can create two skeins at a time at 1.5 yards or 2 yards. It can skein lace weight skeins as small as 20g through 24 oz, Bulky yarns up to 1 lb(.5kg), and everything in between. Whether you are breaking cones of yarn into hanks or winding your favorite skeins into balls, the Whirligig is the tool for you.
