Shop Update- Saturday, May 23rd, 4 PM Eastern

Our first Post Festival Shop Update will be on May 23rd at 4 PM Eastern. This Shop Update will include Sparrows, Starlings, Doves, Penelopes, Roly-Polies, and Whirligigs. We will have a timer banner at the top of the shop. Please make sure to read the following information to ensure you are ready for the shop update.


This is where you will find the listing for the Sparrows, along with all your extras such as bobbins, accessories, and the Speed Controller.


This is where you will find the listing for the Starling V3FP, along with all your extras such as bobbins, accessories, and the Speed Controller.


This is where you will find the listing for the Dove, along with all your extras such as bobbins and accessories. These are preorders for an anticipated shipping time frame of June 20th.


This is where you will find the listing for the Penelope, along with all your extras such as tablets, heddle kits, and weaving kits by Hook & Shuttle.


This is where you will find the listing for the Roly-Poly, along with all your extras.


This is where you will find the listing for the Whirligig, along with all your extras.

How to Prepare for the Shop Update



General

  • Make sure you have a Daedalus Shop account. If you haven't already signed up for a shop account login already on the shop, you'll want to ensure you do that ahead of time. At the top of the shop, you'll see a little person icon. Simply click on this, and on the next page, you'll click "Create account" to set up your account. Please ensure you fill out all the information and set up your shipping address so you don't have to worry about that later.

  • We highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with our shop.

  • For the best shopping experience, we recommend using a device that is capable of using Apple Pay or Google Pay. These methods of payment, if set up, are extremely quick. We also recommend if using PayPal to ensure that you are already logged in to your PayPal account in advance.

  • You'll want to ensure you add any additional items you'd like to purchase before the shop update. This could include things like a Speed Controller, which is required to operate our wheels (except for Dove and Martin). If you already have one of our wheels, you don't need to purchase another controller. You can also add extra packs of bobbins, and a motor extension cable. Anything you can prepare in advance so that you can get through checkout as quickly as possible will improve your chances of scoring a wheel.

  • Please note that due to the number of orders that go through during a Shop Update, we do not combine orders. Please make sure to add any accessories to your cart ahead of the update, so all you will need to do is add your Shop Update item to your cart before checking out.

  • Our machines are in high demand, so they can go quickly, but we encourage everyone who would like one of our wheels, winders, and/or looms to try, and if you don't succeed in this batch, there will be more batches in the future!

  • Some items may sell out quicker than others, while other items may take a bit longer, so don't hesitate to check the shop even if you are late to the update.


Large Purchases

If you are purchasing multiple large devices, such as a combination of multiple wheels, winders, and/or looms, your order may need to be packed in multiple boxes. If we need to ship multiple boxes, we will send an email to notify you of the additional shipping invoice charge.

Batteries

Also, don't forget that if you would like to purchase a Starling or Martin, we have a queue for these wheels. Simply go to their page and fill out the queue form to be on the waiting list. For Falcons and Magpies, we will have them available on a regular basis in the online shop later this year.
